Once upon a time I had a dream. A dream that would allow others to visit a place where they can nurture and heal their mind, body, and soul. To be able to provide a comforting space with diverse healing modalities from an array of talented and committed professionals.
A sense of community where people come and can receive tender loving care. A safe space where people can take the time to do something loving for themselves.
A place that someone can call “home”.
Once upon a time I had a dream. Now this dream is a reality.
A reality that is called ” The Temperance Center”
We hope to be serving the community for many many years to come!

April Happenings !
Welcome To Our Newest Teacher Reyna Gonzalez, RYT
Reyna enrolled in Yoga Haven's piolt Teacher Training back in 1998 in order to deepn her understanding of yoga.
While teaching yoga was nother original goal, the physical practice and the deeper understanding of yoga philosophy,
inspired her to want to share the benefits that yogahad to offer.
Shortly after she started teaching, she found out she was pregnant
and she quickly felt the need to modify her rigorous Vinyasa practice.
The need to modify her practice led her to study various styles of yoga such as
Viniyoga, Iyengar, Somatic, Restorative, Prenatal and Postnatal yoga
in order to be able to help herself and others address the changing needs of their bodies. Over the course of 15 years,
Reyna feels honored to have introduced many students from infancy into adulthood the joy of yoga.
In addition to her 200 hour certification from Yoga Haven, Reyna has studied Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater,
Yoga Spirit Teacher Training Course with various teachers including
Donna Farhi, and Shiva Rea, Pregnancy Yoga with Janice Clarfield, Itsy Bitsy Yoga for Babies, and Tots with Helen Garabedian
